Resumé
Head lice, tiny parasites living on the scalp, have plagued humans for millennia. They spread primarily through direct head contact, laying eggs called nits that are hard to remove. Despite billions spent on treatments, traditional insecticides fail against these eggs. The most effective removal method remains the fine-toothed knit comb used since ancient times.
