Collaborating with scientists, he uses a computer-controlled irrigation system to test various plants' resilience to salinity. Despite smaller yields, the vegetables are sweeter. Successful crops include carrots, cabbage, onions, and salt-tolerant potatoes sent to Pakistan for testing.
