The fall of the House of Cadmus - Iseult Gillespie

Cadmus, a warrior and heir, faced divine retribution after slaying Ares' serpent. Despite founding Thebes and marrying Harmonia, his family's misfortunes escalated due to the gods' wrath. Tragedy struck with the fates of his descendants, leading Cadmus to realize his past mistake and ultimately transforming him and Harmonia into snakes as penance.
