The water cycle involves evaporation, condensation, and precipitation. Water vapor rises when heated, forming clouds through condensation. When clouds become heavy, they release rain, hail, or snow. Groundwater is formed as rain collects in bodies of water. Transpiration from plants and sublimation in cold areas are also part of this cycle.
