There are 5 ways to translate text using Sider.
Sider Translate Widget
- Select text on the web page to auto-fill the input box. Or you can paste text manually
- Choose the target language
Tips of Translate Widget
- Choose the AI model you wish to use
- Customize translation by selecting length, tone, style, and complexity
Translate Webpage
- Open a webpage and hover over the sidebar icon to show the “Translate this page” icon.
- Click the “Settings icon” on the “Translate this page” icon.
- Set your preferences like target language and display style.
- Click the “Translate this page” icon to apply translation.
Translate in Chat
- Choose the target language
- Enter the text need to be translated and hit “Send”
Translate any selected content while reading
You can also use Sider's Context Menu for translating any selected content while reading. Sider remembers your last used language. So you don't need to choose every time.
- On any webpage, select any content to trigger the Context Menu
- Click the drop-down arrow

Translate any selected content while writing
Context Menu can also appear when you select any written text in any input box. You can then use it to translate.
- Select the text in any input box to see the Context Menu
